Ethics, artificial intelligence (AI), and design thinking are current buzz words. The threat of bias-riddled machine learning algorithms is represented media-wide. Research development initiatives endeavoring to ‘translate’ ethics into processes logic as a method adopted gauge the interests values vast range stakeholders. Gender, its framing, reflection, critical evaluation in relation means for developing ethical AI appear be less scholarly discourse. Against background theory gender studies that describe problematize gender, construction norms socio-technological discourse, authors this article aim generate insight state research focused on AI. A review articles revealed trends popularity concepts prominence application specific fields (i.e., educational research). Repetition characterizes more challenging topics or wicked problems.
